In the spirit of caring for our neighbors, 360 Communities provides
hope and support to people by engaging communities to prevent violence,
ensure school success and promote long-term self-sufficiency.
Impact and Programs
Accomplishments
360 Communities addressed the needs of vulnerable community members last year by Ensuring School Success, Preventing Domestic and Sexual Violence, and Providing Basic Needs and Employment Support. Ensuring School Success: 3,529 people were served by Partners for Success, including 1,912 students in 941 families, 92% of parents historically disengaged from their child’s school became engaged, 90% of students improved or maintained their academic performance, 210 at-risk individuals received in-home visiting through Dakota Healthy Families, 126 child care providers received in-depth coaching services through Child Care Aware; 31 received their first Parent Aware rating, and 42 increased their rating or maintained a 4-star rating. Preventing Domestic and Sexual Violence: 3,071 individuals were served by violence prevention and intervention programming, 2,968 community members received violence prevention education from shelter staff, 595 women and children were provided with emergency shelter at Lewis Houses, 383 women, 29 children and youth, and 21 men were provided with sexual assault services. Providing Basic Needs and Employment Support: 13,000+ individuals received emergency services, 10,600+ individuals received food support through 39,000+ visits to our five partner food shelves, 1,000 needy families representing 4,177 individuals received holiday gifts through Armful of Love, 200+ individuals benefited from employment support services to increase earned income.
Current Goals
Programmatic Goals include: Implement 360 Communities’ DV/SA school curriculum within 2 schools in Dakota County. Increase diversity of clients that use Violence Prevention services by 10%. Implement self-sufficiency matrix with 200 families and achieve stability improvement with 85%. Increase Father of Baby (FOB) involvement from current baseline of 42% of FOBs involved in DHF to 50%. 90% of parents historically disengaged from their child's school who use 360 Communities Partners for Success services will improve communication between home and school. 85% of students who use 360 Communities Partners for Success services will improve or maintain academic performance. 85% of students who use 360 Communities Partners for Success services will improve or stabilize attendance. 80% of families at risk of becoming homeless who use 360 Communities Partners for Success services will stabilize their housing. Connect with 1,000 families through Armful of Love.
