Center School, Inc.

Mission Statement

Providing trans-formative education, grounded in Indigenous life-ways and love of learning.

Impact and Programs

Accomplishments Our average daily membership has improved from 42 to 53 over the last year. Attendance has improved slightly (about 1%) , but this is expected to increase slowly when there is a large influx of students new to our program who were previously dis-engaged from school. We graduated 9 of 12 eligible seniors this past year, making our graduation rate 75%. This is very high compared to public schools.
Current Goals We hope to see our students become actively engaged in lifelong learning and realize their enormous potential. We expect continued growth in attendance, credits earned, graduation rates and standardized test scores as students regain confidence in their academic abilities. Financially, we hope to remain viable as we are delivering the kind of programming critical to the success of Indigenous learners.
