Mission Statement
Hamm Clinic's mission is to provide:
Quality, culturally competent outpatient mental health assessment and treatment for adults in our community, particularly the underserved and those who are unable to afford the full cost of care.
Expert training and education for mental health professionals.
Leadership in our community for effective mental health care.
Impact and Programs
Accomplishments
Maximize resource utilization by seeing as many clients as possible
- Hamm Clinic provided 8,700 visits to 700 individuals in need, 191 of these clients were completely new to Hamm Clinic
Train current intern class while completing application to the American Psychological Association to renew accreditation
- Hamm Clinic trained four interns and two residents while successfully completing an application to the American Psychological Association for re-accreditation.
Complete re-organization and successfully manage retirement based transition
- A new organizational structure was put in place and made effective at the beginning of the new year.
Hire new psychiatrist
- After a thorough process, involving all of the clinical staff, a new psychiatrist was hired by the clinic who met all of the desired clinical and organizational skill sets.
Current Goals
Effectively utilize resources to increase the number of clients served and visits provided from previous year.
Plan and implement Motivational Interviewing training for clinical staff, or another appropriate dual-diagnosis support methodology.
Plan and implement PCOMS in-therapy evaluation tool.
Successfully train current class of interns.
Maintain American Psychological Association re-accreditation.
