Mission Statement

To promote the personal development of children, youth and adults through cultural education while providing resources that enhance cross-cultural understanding between Hmong and non-Hmong.

Impact and Programs

Current Goals To serve at least 250 students in Adult Basic Education Classes; To serve between 500-1,000 annual physical visitors to the Hmong Resource Center Library and History Center exhibits and to 20,000 unique visitors to its Hmong Resource Center Library webpage; To serve 100 children, youth and adults in the Cultural Education programs (Qeej, Wedding and Funeral Song Instruction).
Community or Constituency Served Hmong and refugees and immigrants from various backgrounds with Adult Basic Education and Cultural Education programming, the broader Twin Cities and Greater Minnesota population with Multicultural Education programming.
Geographic Area Served Saint Paul and the Twin Cities Metropolitan Area.
