Impact and Programs

Accomplishments During the 2016 fiscal year the Lakes Area Music Festival served over 10,000 individuals cumulatively through world-class live performances, diverse education programs, and a newly implemented outreach program. Over 130 musicians from esteemed ensembles and companies across the country collaborated to increase artistic quality. 580 new individuals were served through thoughtful, community-proposed outreach activities. Nearly 300 volunteers provided 1,000 nights of accommodations, 500 individual meals, and served in many other capacities.
Current Goals We do not currently have specific written goals for the current fiscal year. At the 11/10/2016 board meeting, a 3-year strategic plan was created, and there will be further discussion for completion. The intent is to include actionable and objectively measurable goals for the current fiscal year.
