Mission Statement

The St. Louis Park Emergency Program’s mission is to identify, address and respond to the critical and emergency needs of residents in St. Louis Park.

Impact and Programs

Accomplishments STEP reduced food insecurity by distributing 635,866 pounds of food over 6,954 household food shelf visits last year. Social workers had 11,964 contacts with households. Clothing was distributed over 6,468 household visits. Emergency financial assistance maintained housing for 40 households. Transportation to health appointments and the food shelf was provided 1,450 times.
Current Goals Our programmatic goals are to fully respond to the basic needs of St. Louis Park residents experiencing poverty or financial crisis. We provide food, clothing, professional social work services to anyone in need in the community.
