Accomplishments
St. Stephen's served 2,380 households in FY2017, a total of 4,083 people including 1,541 children.
745 men were provided shelter for at least one night.
Street Outreach helped 330 individuals who were unsheltered.
539 individuals and 563 families accessed housing with supportive services.
235 Veterans received services and access to housing.
76 families and 53 individuals received prevention services to keep them from losing their housing.
Current Goals
Service Goal: We will work in relationship with families and individuals to identify and make progress on a mutually defined trajectory toward greater stability.
Housing Goal: We will expand the pool of accessible, affordable housing opportunities in the private and public sectors.
Advocacy Goal: We will enhance community engagement and mobilize individuals to build greater political, volunteer, and financial support to end homelessness.
Agency Goal: We will ensure St. Stephen’s is a healthy, inclusive, forward-looking agency where all positions are valued and everyone contributes to our success.
Community or Constituency Served
St. Stephen’s helps families and single adults who are experiencing homelessness or at risk of becoming homeless. 38 percent of our clients are children, 70 percent are people of color, and 38 percent are female. St. Stephen's is known for assisting people with the longest lengths of time homeless and the most severe service needs.
