Stepping Stone Emergency Housing

Mission Statement

To provide emergency housing and support for single adults experiencing homelessness as they strive for self-sufficiency.

Impact and Programs

Accomplishments Stepping Stone Emergency Housing serve 384 different individuals that were experiencing homelessness. Of the persons served, 47 or 12% were discharged into housing.
Current Goals Build a cafeteria were all client meals can be served. Assist 20% of persons served to secure housing. Shorten average stay at Stepping Stone Emergency Housing to 90 days or less. Expand Stepping Stone's life skills training program to address an increased number of issues that lead to people becoming homeless. Develop a collaborative relationship with Anoka County Libraries, Anoka County Workforce Center, and are post secondary schools.
