Mission Statement

The Works Museum's mission is to inspire the next generation of innovators, engineers and creative problem solvers.

Impact and Programs

Accomplishments Our major accomplishments in fiscal year (FY) 2014 included: –Record attendance of nearly 75,000 visitors discovering engineering in our exhibits, programs, and activities –Introducing new camps and workshops, including the wildly popular Code Camp engaging kids in computer coding, sequencing, and logic – Implemented best-practice finance methods to better manage program and overhead costs, resulting in an overall expense reduction of 7% for FY 2014
Current Goals The Works Museum's current goals are 1) to enhance our relevance to our increasingly diverse audiences; 2) to deliver engaging engineering education experiences to more students, children, and parents; 3) to inspire more children to continue studying and exploring science, technology, engineering, and math into their middle and high school years.
