Impact and Programs
Accomplishments
In 2016 VLN provided over 9,000 legal services to more than 7,500 low-income clients impacting more than 19,000 household members.
Reported outcomes included being able to pay for daily necessities, being in a better position to keep or find a job, being in a better position to keep or find housing, having improved housing conditions, being physically safer and having an improved quality of life.
In addition, the legal services provided protected money and/or benefits for the clients in an amount in excess of $10 million.
Current Goals

1. Increase number of legal services delivered to more people in need.
2. Increase the percentage of clients who have stabilized or improved life circumstances.
