WeCAN provided a variety of support services empowering individuals and families to reach stability and self-sufficiency.

Adopt a Family holiday gifts- 380 people served
Birthday shelf- 144 children served
Coats, Hats, Mittens- 1,178 distributed
Pet food- 500 pounds distributed
Meals on Wheels- 7,977 meals delivered
Blankets/Quilts- 76 distributed
School supplies- 213 children served
Kids’ Food Bags- 510 distributed
Total pounds of food distributed via Mobile Market programs- 45,165
Current Goals
-Assess present programs and service offerings and develop new programs for gaps in service.
-Complete Charities Review Council Accountability Standards.
-Create new mechanisms for an individual giving program.
-Continue building awareness and support of WeCAN in the communities it represents.
-Work with Board of Directors to establish mechanisms to select new board members; update the board handbook and position description.
Community or Constituency Served
WeCAN serves residents of Mound, Minnetrista, Rockford, Spring Park, St. Bonifacius, Tonka Bay, Navarre, Minnetonka Beach, Maple Plain, Loretto, Independence and Greenfield who are living at or below 200% of the federal poverty guidelines.
